There comes a point in everyone’s life when you’ve got to learn to tolerate some necessary things, like getting used to bathing in a natural hot spring. At the ranch, we have the “cool bath,” a moderately warm pool that is especially attractive to kids. Benjamin got his first dip in the pool yesterday, and so far seems to put up with it without a fight. I hope he gets used to this kind of abuse; he’s got a whole life ahead of him to try anyway.Lucky kid.

Poor kid, has to get bathed. I hope he didn't hate it too much. I also hope he didn't pee in the pool, but we'll never know.
ReplyDeleteI was going to mention that, the peeing in the pool, but decided against it. After all, when Ben grows up and views these old blogs along with his wife-to-be, it would simply be too embarrassing.
