The term Easter Egg refers to the things hidden in a computer program that are unannounced to the user. Digging around, one can be surprised when hitting a certain keyboard combination or clicking on an image and the Easter Egg is discovered.Imagine the surprise felt by the inhabitants of a nearby planet when their sun suddenly exploded in such a spectacular fashion as this one—the Cat’s Eye nebula. It is like what happens when you decide to boil a raw egg by putting it in your microwave oven. Surprise!
Our own sun is expected to end its life in the same fashion in about five billion years. Mark your calendar!
