I had just checked out astropix, and then here it is on your blog. Have you enlarged the picture? Keep clicking and you get a much more detailed view. Almost like flying over it.

ReplyDeleteSusan — apparently the underlying rock is hard and smooth so the sand dunes don’t mix with the ground and get diffused.
