The little puddle shown by the end of the hoe is right above a leaking water pipe. I had known for a while that we had a slow leak in the area, but the wet patch was so diffused that I probably wouldn’t have found the leak without a whole lot of digging. The Big Pig Dig of a week ago got the area freed of grasses and let the ground dry out to where I can now find the leak with minimal digging.Then the fun begins—plumbing repair! Oh joy!
