This morning before it got too hot outside I drove the road grader down to a place where parts of a very old dead bull pine had fallen across our road. I had managed to get around it with the car the previous day. From the looks of it, it wouldn’t have been worth cutting into firewood. So the thing to do was to simply shove both big chunks off the road.
Our grader is unique in one way; the front end, the “frame” as it’s called, bends to the left or right. This allowed me to line up the dozer blade parallel to the tree part so I could push it without simply spinning it. It was easy to push both pieces off the road just where I wanted them.
