From the source…

The Arab News network, Al Jazeera, is not available to viewers in the United States except in Washington, D.C., and local markets in Ohio and Vermont. But their English language Web site is available to anyone with access to the Internet. Their coverage of what’s going on in Egypt is very thorough and they have a live stream of the action on the ground. Worth a look at what’s happening before it goes through the American networks’ filtering.

I have been watching Al Jazeera for a long time now. It gives a different point of view.

Dunno if these sats are on your horizon; but here is a listing of Al Jazeera "channels" : http://en.kingofsat.net/detail-jsc-qatar.php It's one of the freebies on our "freesat" in the UK dish. you're quite right; without getting political about it; it IS a different....less "filtered"...viewpoint; somewhat disappointed it's not available in the US...people can generally make up their own minds.....
